Tonja was born and raised in the Portland Metro Area.  Her travels to Spain and Tangiers awakened a love of exotic flavors.  She received her B.A. in Bilingual Elementary Education from Eastern Oregon University.  She is married with a very energetic daughter who is already emulating her mother’s love of design.  When not engrossed with the latest design magazine, you can find Tonja with her nose in a fantasy novel or out wandering the woods.

Tonja uses her ten plus years of office experience to prioritize, budget and maintain a timeline to realize her client’s projects from concept to completion.  She has constantly risen to the top amongst her peers for her focus, organization and streamlining.  Years of recognized customer service have taught her to listen to every concern and use all available resources to problem solve.  Her natural curiosity often leads her to try new things or use old things in a new way.

Tonja is willing and able to work with any budget.  Her specialty is using recycled furnishings, or building on what you already have.  She believes that as much change can be made with new colors and a new arrangement, as with sweeping the floor clean and starting from scratch.  Using your favorite items, Tonja brings your personal style to every project and turns the house you like into the home you love.  This designer’s philosophy is “Show me what you love and I’ll build a room around it.”
